In the year 2001, Ber-Oner Albania is founded and the site rights for the fields are taken from the government for 30 years.

1. GENERAL EVALUATION OF MINE SITE :
Mine deposit is a volcanic Sediment (Cyprus type), zinced and high pyrited massive copper deposit.
Mine deposit is a sub oceanic formation, ascended thousands of meters from the beginning level to the current level with the ascension of Taurus-Alpine mountain system, and during these developments it has faced tectonic breaks. For this reason, as in first deposit some parts may give up to 1.000.000 tons of reserve, in addition to this, may be viewed in smaller deposits.
Mine deposit is made of a few deposits. 20 m after the first detected deposit, the second one has been cut via drillings and galleries are detected. It is known that there are different ore deposits detected by the drillings.
2. DEVELOPMENT OF THE MINE FIELD:
The Albanian Government has moved works on copper to this region lately and established the detected mine deposits and accelerated the explorations in the place where mine is available.
In Munella mine deposit there has been nearly 70.000 m of drillings and exploration and development galleries are continued at miscellaneous levels from 925 elevations in which ore formation is visible to 645 elevations.
In the galleries above 875 elevations, it is known that production is note available due to ore grade being around 0,70-0,80% Cu, within the dug deposits.
There has been 2 production galleries created between 875 and 645 elevations yet discontinued due to financial issues.
Albanian Government has hired Canadian Nebex Company to hold a general research in Munella mining field. Nebex had made 11.000 m of drilling yet left the area before completion because of the Kosovo war and the chaos in Albania. There’s a drilling report of Nebex available.
In the year 2001 Ber-Oner Albania A.Þ. has connected a 1500 m gallery to the part of the No 1 deposit which has the best mass volume, at 725 elevations. Preparation for the production has continued in years 2002, 2003 and in year 2004 the first production has started. Produced ore is transferred to Fush Arres flotation plant.
3. PROVEN AND POSSIBLE RESERVE :
7,8 million tons of reserve is detected with a co-operation between Albanian and German Governments. The evaluation table which is placed in the work report is as follows.

Between 2004 and 2007 there has been a production of nearly 240.000 tons of ore containing 3,92% Cu, 3,20% Zn, 3,5 gr/ton Au.
