Bolkar Mining Field,
Certificate of Approval Serial No  : IR.35548
Certificate of Approval Area   : 1898,7 hectares

The mining activities (zinc, copper, lead, gold, and silver sites.) in the field date back to older dates. Bearing by being affected with the deep magmatic rock masses from the slopes of Bolkar Mountains which is located in the middle of Taurus Mountains is formed in marbled calcareous faults, which are continued in east-west direction. Around these areas, there are ore in partly natural, partly man made and 100 m deep caves with underground rivers alluviums as well as in primer deposits. In the parts near to surface there are highly secondary structures. There’s zinc, lead, copper, and financially precious silver and gold. It is known that ores are produced before the World War II by a German company. The sample analysis by MTA, held for the samples from the area is as follows.
