Akdag Flotation Plant Print E-mail

Flotation plant is within the administrative borders of Akdağmaden county of Yozgat Province. The distance to the county Centrum is 2 KMs.

Small plant with the capacity of 85-100t/day is founded in 1968 and new plant with the capacity of 200-250 t/day is founded in 1979. Plant kept production activity running with breaks due to lack of ore until 2005 and by the end of year 2005 to the beginning of 2007, it has been completely stopped because of the visible reserve being finished, yet having a high potential, in year 2007 exploration and partly production activities have started again.

PRODUCTION VALUES:
Since the date the site is active to current date, nearly 50.000 tons of hand selected good quality ore and 180.000 tons of zinc/lead concentrate is sold by exporting.
